As you can tell, I’m pretty into some of the things that are going on with Artificial Intelligence, but I’m definitely coming at it from a very different perspective than others. I believe that the true power of Artificial Intelligence lies in its ability to understand and recognize patterns much quicker and efficiently than any human (or combination of humans) ever could. Think how Deep Blue was able to beat the best Chess player in the world because it is just that much faster at deciphering the patterns and alternatives that play out on the chessboard.
We can use AI to complement out daily lives, it can be game changer without it having the apocalyptic connotations that it has in Hollywood movies.
