He has a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the Graduate School of Public Health, Medical Sciences Campus, where he also worked as a professor, part-time, for twelve years.

Currently, he works at the Puerto Rico Hospital Association, serving as Vice President and Chief Operation Officer.

Mr. González has been president of three leading entities in the provision of health services such as the Puerto Rico Hospital Association, the Puerto Rico Chapter of ACHE and the College of Health Services Administrators. In 2014, the AHA awarded him the Grassroots Champion award for Puerto Rico, for his interest and continuous effort in improving the services provided to the community.

On a professional and personal level, women live in constant challenges that men normally do not have and that is a great disadvantage when it comes to growing up. I firmly believe that we must continue working to further reduce these disadvantages. I feel very grateful to work in a place where 50% of the collaborators are women, we all contribute to maintaining a work balance.
