Today we talked about Synapse and how a PACS system like this one, rated #1 by KLAS is a powerful tool for creating efficiencies in the Radiology and Cardiology departments. We have been using Synapse for close to two decades already and we are always amazed at how magical it can be. To me, the best part about this episode was when I brought up the “little known fact” that it snows in the Dominican Republic. However, on the spanish version of the podcast, Mariel corrected me and said that it didn’t actually snow, but what would happen was that it would get cold enough for water to freeze and/or for hail to come down.

I went on the Interweb and found these photos of Valle Nuevo…it sure looks like it does freeze over, but also some snow has fallen as well.

Hello Guys, This episode was super interesting, we talked about Synapse, one of the best PACS we offer, and its award as the best in Klas report, an institution that recognizes software and service companies that stand out in helping health professionals. We also talked about our favorite places, the mountains or the beach, that's why I'm sharing some photos of a hike I did in Los Cacaos, a super beautiful place and a little difficult to get to, we went with guides and we had to rappel, I loved it . In this episode there was an unfinished question, whether or not snow falls in the Dominican Republic, based on this, I share this video:

I was born in the Dominican Republic and just like Mariel I appreciate a day at the beach, but I prefer to go to the mountains on vacation and relax with friends and family. I always appreciate the opportunity to learn about new aspects of our systems, even after 6 years at DISS I continue to discover new applications and features of Synapse and how it can make a difference in diagnosing an emergency In addition, the recording of this episode was a bit tight on time because the offices had to be disinfected and we had to have everything ready in less time and we did it just in time, from the production point of view it is a great achievement of planning and evolution of our cast to achieve the objectives.

The episode of the podcast for me was very interesting this time the personal question seemed curious to me so I also asked myself the question although I did not answer the podcast, And it is that really my favorite places are the mountains I like to go out and take pictures in green places, it was also interesting to know the quality and professionalism of the systems used in DISS.
