It's my opinion that tech doesn’t fail, users do, but they only fail due to bad user designs implemented, and if the user fails and you need to keep "idiot proofing" your invention, you may be targeting the wrong users. I've been seeing more and more discussions around user failures in cybersecurity, but so few articles mention the most important aspect that is often forgotten, education. Look, you can’t know what you don’t know, and berating you for not knowing will get us nowhere. My responsibility, as I see it, is to make sure that you DO know, but also make sure that you're not afraid to ask me any "idiot" question you have, because, and this is the most important point, the more mistakes you make that I learn how to fix and can later teach how to prevent, the more I grow as a person and professional.
